Another chapter closes in library
FEARS are growing for the future of the borough's main library after two businesses turned their back on it.
Users of Willesden Green Library in Willesden High Road, are reeling after the cinema closed in November, following the café which shut some months earlier.
No new tenants have yet been found for either property and some feel as if the centre is not being pushed enough.
Brent Council said new tenants were currently being sought for both the cinema, which it hoped would re-open soon, and the café, which it specified must be family friendly.
The council also said in the meantime Brent's Children's Centres would provide a range of services from February, including mother and toddler groups, family learning sessions and advice surgeries for parents.
